Toyota Motors Corporation, one of the largest vehicle makers in the world market, is planing to launch its most popular compact sedan Toyota Etios overseas markets. Toyota Etios is specially made for India but now the company wants to push the car in Brazil market very soon. To Spread its wings in that market company is mulling over to launch an Etios manufacturing facility in Brazil by next year. After getting good response this sedan the Toyota has recently launched the hatchback version with name of Toyota Etios Liva, in India which is reporting buzz response to Indian customers.
As per company sources, In the month of August 2010, TMC decided to launch a vehicle plant in Sorocaba, Brazil which would be started by next year and now the company is planing to produce its India oriented compact sedan Toyota Etios in that facility. The production capacity of the plant is expected over 70,000 units per annum and production will commence in late 2012. On the other hand, Japanese auto major is planing to achieve numero uno position in Indian auto market and spreading its wings across the country with wind speed. It has one facility in Indian land and now TKM has invested Rs. 3,200 crore to set up its second manufacturing plant in Bangalore to produce sedan Toyota Eitos and and hatchback Toyota Etios Liva. Currently, both the car are only made for Indian and available in 1.5 litre petrol 1.2 litre petrol engines respectively.
After seen boom in demand of Toyota Etios sedan and Toyota Etios Liva hatchback, the company to have its second plant production large. Toyota to tough the production mark of 1,20,000 units from 70,000 units per year after starting this second facility in Bangalore. Currently, Toyota is producing about 6,000 units of Etios and Liva which will be increase to 8,000 units with in next a couple of month. This year the company plans to sell over 60,000 units of these both popular cars in India. In this sales mark the 20,000 units will be only Toyota Etios Liva.
Meanwhile, TMC has displayed images of the 2012 Toyota Fortuner in its official website in the Thailand market. Toyota Fortuner is most popular entry level luxury SUV by the company which has good name and fame in international auto market along with Indian auto market. This 2012 Toyota Fortuner is expected to hit the Indian roads by the end of this year which will come loaded with a 3.0L diesel engine. However, a 4x2 variant of the car is also expected.
