Facelifted Toyota Innova unveiled

Toyota Motors, world's largest car manufacturer has officially launched the new Toyota Innova at the 201 (IIMS) Indonesia International Motor Show. The car has been fully facelifted and comes integrated by highly sophisticated features and specifications. New Toyota Innova pictures are looking so cute and exterior and interior appearance of the car are now more attractive than current model. New Toyota Innova price has not been disclosed yet but is expected some pricer than old one.

The all facelifted Toyota Innova that now comes cosmetic upgrade and major changes under the hood, will be available in the market by the mid of 2012. The car is also much awaited in India and after launching Toyota Etios Liva hatchback which is an answer to Maruti Swift, Ford Figo, Chevrolet Beat and Hyundai i10; this will be big launch by the company which ensure to make it major keyplayer in the Indian domestic auto market.

The next generation Toyota Innova comes with new face with entirely new headlamps. It has new radiator grille with less chrome, while bonnet of the car has new creases. Some portions of the A, B and C pillar are now comes painted with body colour, tail lamps are new and major changes has been done interior side like dashboard and the center console has been tweaked, A/C vents have been fitted around the centre, steering mounted audio controls etc.

The new Toyota Innova is coming powered by the same engine as current model and it will also be available in both the diesel and petrol engine versions but fuel economical treatment has been done. The diesel version of the car is powered by a 2.5-liter D-4D turbo engine that delivers max power of 102 PS @ 3600 rpm and peak torque of 200Nm between 1400-3400rpm. Meanwhile, petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-lter mill that produces max power of 132PS at 5600 rpm and top torque of 181 Nm at 4000 rpm. It is expected this new version of the beast would reach in India by the mid of next year which will an answer to Mahindra Xylo, Tata Aria and Maruti's upcoming MPV Maruti Ertiga.
