Honda recalls 72k units of City

Honda Motor Corporation in association with Indian subsidiary Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. is recalling over 72K units of popular premium sedan Honda City due to some technical mistakes in power window switch which were manufactured from 2005 to 2007. To recall these 72K units of Honda City sedan the company will contact to owners and all these mistakes will be replaced out free of cost which is really good news. The second generation Honda City sedan which were manufactured in year 2007 had already been recalled by the company in 2010. Now the second time Honda is ready to biggest recall.

It is very admirable step the by the company to the Honda City owners by Honda that they will contacted by the company all these technical mistakes in power window switches will be replaced out free of cost. In a statement the company reported that HSCI is carrying out the part replacement as part of a global exercise by Honda Motor Company to ensure stringent quality standards for its products. The company will start work on this this biggest recall.

Presently, Honda Siel cars India is also aiming to achieve good market share din Indian small car and entry level sedan car market. To attract the customers the company has planed to launch innovative new car models in India. The company had already announced that it will launch the diesel engine model of India available all Honda car models such as Honda City, Honda Civic, Honda CR-V and Honda Accord by near future. The has recently unveiled the 2012 Honda City in overseas market which will be launched very soon India too.

With it, Honda has also launched its India bound second and much awaited second small car-Honda Brio on September 27th in competitive price range. The all new Honda Brio is available in competitive price range which prove it entry level small car in the segment. Honda is not offering Airbags in the base model of the car as a standard feature. So, Honda Brio price is cheaper than its competitors. Honda Brio price would starts price at Rs. 3.95 lakh for the base model. And with this competitive price tag Honda Brio is expected would give heart hitting competition to Toyota Etios Liva, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Spark, Maruti Alto and Nissan Micra.

There is plenty of new car models have recently been launched in the market like Toyota Etios Liva, Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet Beat diesel, Nissan Sunny, Audi A6, Tata Aria 4x2, Tata Indica Xeta, New Maruti Swift, New Volkswagen Jetta, Force One, BMW X3, New Honda Jazz, Honda Brio, Mahindra XUV 500 Renault Koleos, Toyota Etios Liva diesel.
