Maurti Swift Dizre is the 5th best selling car in the Indian auto market after hatchback Maruti Alto, Maruti Wagon R, Hyundai i10 and Maruti Swift. Currently, all the Maruti Swift are being produced at Manesar plant but due to 13th days long strike the company has witnessed a big downfall in production of the car and finally decided to shift the car production at its Gurgoan plant.
Maruti Suzuki India is producing its popular car models like Maruti Swift, Maruti A-Stat, Maruti Swift Dzire and Maruti SX4. Meanwhile at its first manufacturing plant-Gurgaon the the company is producing Maruti Alto, Maruti WagonR, Maruti Zen Estilo, Maruti Eeco and Maruti Ritz and Maruti Omni and Maruti Gypsy.
Maruti Swift was launched in India in 2008 and since launch the car has been most popular in the Indian auto market. Due to its mega demand it is in waiting period of over six month. Maruti Swift is giving tough competition to Toyota Etios, Hyundai Accent and Mahindra Verito and dominating the Indian compact sedan car market.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is the country's largest car maker and produced over 1.27 million cars in last fiscal. Manesar it the second big plant of the company after Gurgaon which now will lost the Maruti Swift Dizre. As per company intends only three models will be produced at this plant.
Manesar plant produced over 300,000 car last year. And now Maruti is going to release the new version of hatchback Maruti Swift in the month of August this year which will be produced at this plant. Last financial year Maruti reported a growth of 30 per cent in sales.
To maintain its numero uno position in Indian auto market the company to launch many of Maruti cars in India like small car Maruti Cervo, MPV Maruti Ertiga and a re-freshed of the Maruti Swift Dzire will also be launched by the end of this year.
On the other hand, to beat the Maruti and Hyundai another fastest companies like Ford, Honda and Chevrolet have also launched their innovative cars like Ford Fiesta sedan, Honda Brio hatchback and Chevrolet Beat diesel respectively.
