New car launches in India in September 2011

In the month of September this year plenty of new car models have been launched in the Indian auto market which are able to attract the customers. All these launched new cars in India in the month September this year are fuel efficient and great performer. With it, all these new cars are available in competitive price range. This month Toyota has launched the diesel engine variant of its popular sedan Toyota Etios; Honda launched the second small car Honda Brio and new version of Honda Jazz; Mahindra has launched the new SUV Mahindra SUV 500 and luxury car giant BMW to launch new luxury SUV BMW X3. Here we are providing you features and specifications of these launched new cars in India.

Toyota Etios diesel


Toyota Kirloskar Motors than has popular entry level sedan Toyota Etios in the Indian auto market has launched its diesel engine version which is fuel efficient. Toyota Etios diesel is a frugal and comfortable sedan and it is powered by the 1.4-litre engine which is available in Toyota Corolla Altis diesel. This engine of the car is mated by a 5 speed manual transmission and this engine's power to be around 75 bhp and torque to be somewhere around 190 Nm. The expected Toyota Etios diesel is more than 21 kmpl.

Toyota Etios diesel price is competitive and its is available in the price range of Rs. 3.99 lakh to Rs. 5.99 lakh at ex-showroom Delhi. Toyota Etios diesel features and specifications are same as petrol variant and there is no changes in body and appearance. It is giving serious competition to the Maruti Swift Dzire, Maruti SX4, Mahindra Verito and Tata Manza.

New Honda Jazz and Honda Brio


Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. has targeted the mass market hatchback segment with the launch of new car models. The company has launched the facelifted version of its popular premium hatchback Honda Jazz and one new small car-Honda Brio in this month. The new avatar of Honda Jazz is eye-catchy, great performer in the segment. The new version of the car has more features and specifications than current running version.



Meanwhile, Honda Brio is new car model in the Indian auto market by the auto giant. Honda Brio has radically-designed front and a uniquely designed, triangular tail lamp and small dimensions which make it decent in the segment. This small car is powered by a 1.2 litre i-vtec engine that produces 90 bhp of maximum power and mated with a 5-speed transmission. Honda Brio mileage is over 20 kmpl and it is an answer to Maruti Suzuki Ritz, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat, Nissan Micra and Toyota Etios Liva.



Mahindra SUV 500


Mahindra SUV 500 is the most attractive new SUV car model in India by the SUV and MUV car giant Mahindra & Mahindra. This is an entry level luxury SUV which has great image and excellent features along with eye-catchy appearance. The new SUV is available in both the two wheel drive and four wheel drive. Mahindra SUV 500 price in India it between Rs. 10.80 lakh to 12.88 lakh at ex-showroom Delhi. It is powered by a 2.2 litre m-hawk engine that produces 138 bhp of max power. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while the 4WD version of the SUV gets a Borg-Warner on-demand 4×4 system. It is the major competitor of Tata Aria, Skoda Yeti and Ford Endeavour.


BMW X3

BMW X3 is the next eye-catchy and excellent performer luxury SUV by the luxury car giant BMW India. It fill ups the blank space of between BMW X1 and BMW X5. This mid sized crossover is powered by a 2.0 litre diesel engine that powers the present model. The engine belts out 177 bhp of power and 350 Nm of maximum torque. The new BMW X3 also gets a 2.5 litre petrol engine that produces 218 bhp of power and 250 Nm of maximum torque. The new beast will get ‘Black Panel technology’ which is available in BMW 5-series and 7-series luxury sedans. Expected BMW X3 price is Rs. 40 lakh in the auto market and it is giving tough competition to Audi Q5 and the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLK.
