New car launches in July 2011

In the month of July this year plenty of new car models have been launched India. Indian major car maker companies have launched their popular cars in India in this month which had made a boom in the domestic auto market. All these launched popular cars in India are Ford Fiesta, Chevrolet Beat diesel and Force One SUV while Honda Brio also could make its presence in this month.

The country's fastest growing car maker Ford India has launched its most popular global sedan Ford Fiesta in the Indian auto market in July this year. It is an answer to Hyundai Verna. Currently, Hyundai Verna is dominating the Indian entry level sedan market over 20000 units of the car have been booked and running in waiting period of almost 4-5 months. Meanwhile, Toyota Etios is also following its footprint in sales.

Ford Fiesta is available in the both petrol and diesel engine versions as same Hyundai Verna. But Fiesta is powered by the 1.5 liter engines which are very fuel efficient and could push it one step ahead than Verna in the sales mark. As per ARAI the diesel version of the Ford Fiesta delivers average mileage of 23.5 kmpl. The car comes equipped by with cutting-edge technology loaded features and specs. Ford India includes Ford Figo, Ford Fiesta Classic and Ford Endeavour in its stable.

Chevrolet owned by General Motors which has most popular hatchback-Chevrolet Beat, is ready to launch the diesel version of the car in this month. It is expected the all new Chevrolet Beat diesel will be launched in the Indian auto market by mid of July this year.

Currently, Chevrolet Beat is available in petrol and LPG version powered by 1199 cc, 1.2L, S-TEC II 16V DOHC engine that generates max power of 80.5 PS at 6200 rpm and peak torque of 80.5 PS at 6200 rpm and deliver average mileage of 14.5 kmpl and 10.2 kmpl respectively.

Meanwhile, the the diesel version of the car has a 936 cc, three cylinder turbocharged Smartech SDE diesel engine the generating peak power of 57.3PS at 4000 rpm and top torque of torque 150Nm at 1750 rpm. As per ARAI standards fuel efficiency of this version is 24kmpl which decent in the segment. The company not announced but as per expectations it may go for Rs. 50-60K premium over every petrol version. The all new diesel Chevrolet Beat is giving tough competition to Maruti Swift, Volkswagen Polo, Toyota Etios Liva, Ford Figo, Skoda Fabia and Nissan Micra.

Another surprising new car launch in India is Force One SUV which is first offering passenger car in India by the mini truck maker Force Motors. The Force One SUV is an answer to Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari.
