Honda sales 4725 cars in India during July 2011

The sales mark of India's prominent car maker Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. increase marginally in July 2011. The company company reported at growth of 1 per cent with sales of 4,725 units of Honda cars in India in the month of July, 2011 against the sale mark of 4,685 units in the same month of previous year.

After reducing the prices for Honda City (Rs. 66,000) and Honda Jazz (1.75 lakh) in the Indian domestic market the company reported this marginally growth sales. The company sold 275 units of Honda Jazz, 233 units of the Honda Civic, 84 units of Honda Accord and 41 units of Honda CR-V while 4092 units of Honda City were sold in the month of July this year.

Due to its new strategy the company is on track of growth again. Now the company is ready to launch the new version of its premium hatchback Honda Jazz this month. In the month of October this year Honda to launch its second small car Honda Brio in India which is currently running in overseas market.

By the end of this year or later the company to launch the new version of Honda City and the 2012 version of its premium sedan Honda Civic in the Indian auto market. While the facelifted of Honda CR-V has also been spotted which will make its presence in the market by the start of next year.

The company hopes that its second small car Honda Brio would achieve good response to the Indian customers due to its fuel efficiency and competitor price. The new car is the major competitor of Toyota Etios Liva, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat and Ford Figo which another popular cars in India.

One the other hand, some of new car models have also been launched in the Indian auto market such as New Audi A6, New Volkswagen Jetta, Force One, Nissan Sunny, New Maruti Swift, BMW X3, New Honda Jazz, Mahindra XUV 500, Renault Koleos, Toyota Etios diesel, Honda Brio etc.
