Renault Modus

The entering of Renault Modus, mini MPV, is getting confirmed after the glimpse of it while testing. As on standalone basis, this is the first multipurpose utility vehicle of Renault Motors but the third vehicle from company’s Indian portfolio. For first, after the dissolution of the joint venture with Mahindra & Mahindra, it has launched sedan version as a flake of its competence in the month of May 2011 i.e. Renault Fluence. Then 3 months latter company has introduced its SUV contender Renault Koleos.

And now, the all conversations between the decisive heads of Renault India are been centralized to Renault Modus. It seemed like they have abruptly started working over to add the bits to the totality of Renault’s auto collection. Infact, as per their words, company is conscious to expend the sphere of its business operations across the country. So, it’s experts are hurrying to complete its overall collection so that company can have the standing of deserving challengers at the war-front of every segment. Presently, the segment in which it’s seeking to introduce its Renault Modus is packed with presence of major challengers like Tata Aria, Skoda Yeti, Maruti Grande Vitara, Ford Endeavour, Chevrolet Captiva, Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Outlander and Pajero. But being mini MPV it’ll also look around leading hatchbacks for completion of its competence like Chevrolet Beat, Hyundai i20, Nissan Micra, New Maruti Swift, etc.

Also, tomorrow on 28th September 2011, there is one tougher challenger has added to the enemies’ list of Renault Modus i.e. Mahindra XUV500. This is the fact that it’s having the price bracket of Rs. 10, 80,000 to Rs.12, 88,000 and there is big difference comparatively as it seems like it’s not the real challenger. But, here in India still the decisions are been made to consider the marginal differences. So, the makers of Renault Modus must be aware of that as to play safe in the favor of.

This is true that currently the experts of Renault India have concentrated over the launch of Renault Modus in India . And they are also seeking to introduce some new cars in India to have steady proceedings in their progressions. So, for now, one of the tags between Rs. 14.5 lakh to Rs. 22.5 lakh is been expecting to become the initiative of price of the base variant of Renault Modus and it’ll be here in both of the necessary fuel options i.e. diesel and petrol.

For the performance of Renault Modus Petrol, 1.2 liter of engine is hope to be engaged which can produce the maximum power of 75 HP and torque of 104 NM whereas Renault Modus Diesel is hoped to have the engagements of 1.5 liter DCi engine. Reason, it’s good to produce the required power of 63 HP and torque of 160 NM.
