New car launches in India in September this year

The Indian auto market has included plenty of new car models in the month of September this year which will pose a great help to push the mark of Indian auto market. It is sure that all these popular new cars in India will able to attract the customers due to their excellent fuel efficiency and mindblowing performance. All these launched new cars in India are available in competitive price range and there is a battle has been started among all the Indian auto makers. In the month of September this year Toyota launched the diesel engine version of popular sedan Toyota Etios; Honda launched its second small car Honda Brio and new avatar of popular luxury hatchback Honda Jazz; Mahindra launched new entry level luxury SUV Mahindra XUV 500 while BMW has also launched the new luxury SUV BMW X3. Toyota Etios diesel


Toyota Kirloskar Motors has already made announcement about the launch of diesel version of its popular sedan Toyota Etios which is more fuel efficient than current running petrol version. This new Toyota Etios diesel is a frugal and comfortable sedan. This diesel engine version of the car comes sported at 1.4-litre engine which is available in Toyota Corolla Altis diesel. This diesel powerplant of the car is mated by a 5 speed manual transmission. It generates max power of around 75 bhp and peak torque of somewhere around 190 Nm. The expected Toyota Etios diesel mileage is expected around 21 kmpl.


Toyota Etios diesel price is competitive in the segment. Toyota Etios diesel features and specifications are same as the petrol variant and there is no changes in exterior and interior appearance. It is giving tough competition to the Maruti Swift Dzire, Maruti SX4, Mahindra Verito and Tata Manza.

New Honda Jazz and Honda Bri


Honda Siel Cars India has finally decided to target the Indian mass market hatchback segment with the launch of new car models. The company has launched the facelifted version of its popular premium small car Honda Jazz which is really attractive and second small car-Honda Brio in the month of September this year. The facelifted variant of Honda Jazz is eye-catchy, great performer and allure in the segment. The new Honda Jazz has more features and specifications than current version which proving it decent in the segment.

Honda Brio is the second launched Honda small car in the Indian auto market by the Japanese auto major. It is available in comeptitive price range of Rs. 3.95 lakh to 5.10 lakh at ex-showroom. Honda Brio has radically-designed front and a uniquely designed, triangular tail lamp and small dimensions which make it decent and value for money. This hatchback car is powered by a 1.2 litre i-vtec engine that produces 90 bhp of maximum power and mated with a 5-speed transmission. Honda Brio mileage is over 20 kmpl and it is an answer to Maruti Ritz, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat, Nissan Micra and Toyota Etios Liva.

Mahindra XUV 500

Mahindra & Mahindra has entered in the luxury car market with the launch of entry level luxury SUV Mahindra XUV 500. The launch of Mahindra W201 is scheduled this month. It is expected most attractive new car launch in India by the SUV and MUV car major Mahindra & Mahidra. This is an entry level luxury SUV which has great image and excellent features along with eye-catchy appearance. Mahindra XUV 500 is available in both the two wheel drive and four wheel drive options. Mahindra XUV 500 price falls in the range of Rs. 10.80 lakh to Rs. 12.88 lakh at ex-showroom Delhi, The car is powered by a powerful and fuel efficient 2.2 litre m-hawk engine that produces 138 bhp of max power. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while the 4WD version of the SUV gets a Borg-Warner on-demand 4×4 system. It is a tough competitor of Tata Aria, Skoda Yeti and Ford Endeavour.

BMW X

The much awaited BMW X3 is the eye-catchy and excellent performer luxury SUV in Indian auto market by the luxury car leader BMW India. This new luxury SUV fills the blank space of between BMW X1 and BMW X5. This mid sized crossover is powered by a 2.0 litre diesel engine that powers the present model. The engine belts out 177 bhp of power and 350 Nm of maximum torque. The new BMW X3 gets a 2.5 litre petrol engine that produces 218 bhp of power and 250 Nm of maximum torque. The new beast gets ‘Black Panel technology’ which is available in BMW 5-series and 7-series luxury sedans. Expected BMW X3 price is Rs. 40 lakh in the auto market and it and answer to Audi Q5 and the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLK.
