Maruti Wagon R sales down in July 2012

Yesteryears’ hit entry level small car, Maruti Wagon R India is continuously reporting downfall in sales. Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the country's largest passenger car maker has disclosed the sales figures for the month of July, 2012 and its best selling petrol cars like M800, Alto, A-Star and Wagon R reported a cumulative downfall of 24 per cent at the sales of 28988 units. Right now, the demand for diesel cars in India is increasing and these small cars lack the diesel version.

The company recorded a raise of 6.8 per cent in domestic sales at 71,024 units in July 2012. And now the company is considering about the pump to the sales of small car petrol cars.
